Yesterday : Eric FERREUX / Serge AUDEMARS - Rallye du Valais 1987
The most French of Swiss drivers (he was born in Paris) inherited his passion for the automobile from his father, an auto mechanic. From the age of 10 he drives on the paths in the woods that surround the house. Ten years later, he made his debut in slalom and hill climbing before turning to rallying behind the steering wheel of a Porsche with which he won his first Swiss Championship title in 1983.
His talent was spotted by the Renault dealership in Bussigny-près-Lausanne, who entrusted him with a Renault 5 Turbo. With this car, he wins two new titles in quick succession. In 1987, an R11 Turbo replaced th group B. Eric Ferreux was crowned Swiss Champion for the fourth
time.
Eric, still codrived by the faithful Serge AUDEMARS, is now presenting a replica of this titled car.
